Rīgas Konference

The Rīga Conference is an annual international forum bringing together international foreign policy and defence experts, academics, diplomats, businessmen and journalists. The conference draws up important discussions on long-term regional and global foreign and security policy issues.

The Rīga Conference was held for the first time in 2006 and has been able to establish its name over the years. It is traditionally organised in the Latvian National Library gathering approximately 600 participants, while providing live broadcasting on different media platforms.

The Rīga Conference is organised by the Latvian Transatlantic Organisation in close cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia.
